What is "The List"?

We're hoping The List will be a reliable directory, representing (and respecting) the most prolific and talented Asian bloggers on web.


Why create "The List"?

• To help people find those Asian blogs deserving of more exposure and accessibility to the online public.


• To showcase those Asian bloggers who have always been there, have never faltered, and continue to blog amidst the popularity of social media and social networking.


• To showcase Asian bloggers who have been pioneers in the blogging world, many of whom have kept online journals even before the term "blog" was invented.

The List simply showcases the best Asian blogs on the web based on a set of criteria:

• 1. Activity - The blog's content is updated several times a month, and often times, several times a week.


• 2. Dedication - Blogs that make this list have basically been around in one form or another for many years. Some veteran bloggers have been writing online since the late 1990's. So, longevity is a key factor. Bloggers who are in it for the long run, making the art of blogging a part of their lifestyle.


• 3. Passion and Creativity - A flair for ideas, creativity and a sense of artistic expression... a passion for taking the art of blogging to the next level, whether it is through writing, web design or concept.


• 4. Popularity - Blogs that make this list have achieved a certain amount of popularity, and credibility with its readers. 3 indicators will be taken into account:
  • Technorati's Authority Rank - The higher the better. 100+ preferred.
  • Alexa Rank - The higher the better.
  • Google Page Rank - 3/10 recommended minimum.
  As well as popularity and connectivity through social media.
